In a study conducted by Northwestern University, Alongside was found to impact students at all levels of the MTSS framework.
76% of high-risk students reported no suicidal ideation after 3-months (Tier 3).
25% of students with anxiety saw a clinically significant reduction in symptoms (Tier 2).
Across all students, overall distress decreased after 1-month and hopelessness decreased after 3-months (Tier 1).
Improve attendance
In a study conducted with Instructure and a TX school district, students using Alongside showed a statistically significant 2% higher ADA than students who did not use the platform.
Students using Alongside had 20% fewer absences on average over the study period than non-users
The study design and analysis was designed to meet the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Version 5.0 standards, one of the highest benchmarks for education research quality, and satisfied federal ESSA evidence requirements.

Alongside meets federal standards for evidence and impact
Instructure, a third-party evaluator, has validated the effectiveness of Alongside to meet the funding requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) standards for level 2, 3 and 4. Read the press release for more information.
